Ardennes or Auslander Field Knife (pre-order / commission)

ARDENNES (on the left) :
Robust EDC / bushcraft knife, featuring a full flat grind and a small swedge for added strength at the tip. Full tang, full distal taper, and way more pins than are strictly necessary. Blade is 80crv2, an incredibly tough steel specifically engineered for knives. Lightly force-aged with a directional satin finish.

AUSLANDER (on the right) :
Inspired by traditional Northern European knives, this model features a scandi grind, thinner blade profile, and more spearlike point. Full tang. Blade is 80crv2, with copper liners and hollow pins. Also lightly force-aged, with a directional satin finish.

BOTH KNIVES :
Standard handle material is black linen Micarta, a composite that's resistant to heat, chemical reaction, and blunt force. Upgrades are available - please message me for alternate handle materials. The micarta had been garnet blasted for a micro texture.

Sheath of molded full grain leather, with recessed stitching and a small drain-hole / fish mouth at the tip to prevent accumulation of debris. Dyed black and sealed against the elements. Guaranteed to retain the knife even when held upside down. The sheath will be a bit tight when shipped out, and will take some time to break in. This is normal. The inside of the sheath is treated with a food grade oil.

Kydex (thermoformed polymer) sheath now available for both bushcraft models. Soft loops with pull-the-dot snaps for attachment to belt or other gear. Scroll for photos.

Full purchase price orders will go to the front of the queue. Deposits are required up front for custom orders, with the balance due before shipment. Extras such as upgraded handle options are included in the initial deposit.
